Frequently asked questions

Is there an official event for each trade fair I can sign up to, or do I create my own?

There's no official directory of trade fairs in fær. You create your own event for each fair you attend, even if other exhibitors are at the same physical fair. Your QR codes, lineup, analytics, and leads all belong to your account only — nothing is shared by default.

Can I show the same product at more than one event?

Yes. Add a product once, then assign it to as many events as you like. Each event gets its own QR code per product, and analytics are tracked per event — so you can see which fair drove which engagement.

What's included in the free first event?

Your first event is free, capped at 3 days and 20 products. You get the full dashboard, real-time analytics, and lead capture — no card required.

How does pricing work after the free event?

€99 per day (excl. VAT), for events from 1 to 30 days, with up to 100 products per event. No subscription, no recurring charges — you pay only for the days your fair runs.

What still works after my event ends?

Scanning a QR code shows visitors a friendly "event ended" page — but everything else keeps flowing. Visitors still find your products in their briefcase, view brochures, save them, share them, click outbound links, and grant consent. So you keep capturing engagement after the fair, and your post-event dashboard reflects it.

What happens to saved brochures if I update or delete a product?

Updates show up live: when you change a product's PDF, name, summary, or link, every visitor who saved it sees the new version next time they open their briefcase. If you delete a product, it disappears from their briefcase too. There's no stale archive on the visitor side — what they see always matches what you've currently published.

Can I export my analytics and leads?

Yes. Analytics, leads, and your consent log all export as CSV or XLSX. Headers are localized in English and German.

Can I invite my team?

Yes — up to 10 members per account. Three roles: Owner manages billing and the team, Editor manages products and stand setup, Viewer has read-only access plus exports and QR downloads. Ownership is transferable.

Is fær GDPR-compliant?

Yes. Visitor analytics are anonymous and don't require a cookie banner. Lead capture is opt-in only and stored as an audit-grade consent log. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available to review before signup.

Do visitors need to install an app?

No. Scanning a QR code opens the brochure directly in their phone's browser. Visitors browse anonymously by default; signing in is optional and lets them sync their briefcase across devices and grant consent so an exhibitor can contact them.
